These printers are slightly more expensive than the Selphy printer but less expensive than the iP100. The come in different configurations and of cause at different prices as the number of feature grows.

These portable printers for laptops are a bit heavier than the Canon models and will have you carry about 9 pounds. You will get more features and better print quality but if you want to travel light then this might not be for you.

If the portable photo printer is meant as a tool to print holiday pictures while on vacation the weight might not be an issue if you’re able to put it into your trolley or suitcase.

With all the multi option printers and scanners that have hit the market many people are starting to look for a portable solution to those as well. Sure you can drag it along but if you want something that you can have in a smaller back or in a light weight trolley you will have to do without the scanner ability.
