They’re all so popular – Hewlett Packard, Canon, Brother, Epson, Samsung. While they might all be popular names when it comes to printers, as far as legacy goes, nothing compares to Xerox. The name might not be as big as it once was, but they still put out high quality products.
Credible Name
Actually, that’s part of the reason their name isn’t as big as it was at one time. They don’t throw models out there one after the other like some other printer companies do. If they’re going to design and sell a model, they’re going to put everything they have into it. This obviously works to your benefit, as is the case with the Xerox Phaser 7500 series.
This is an a3 color printer that comes in four different models. The 7500N, 7500DN, 7500DT, and 7500DX. Other than a few tweaks, the features are very similar. If there is a major difference, it will be pointed out. The 7500 model has optional double sided printing where as the DN, DT, and DX models have double sided printing as a standard.
The Phaser 7500 sells for between $3000 and $5000, depending on the specific model and where it is sold. Of course, if you’re willing to buy used or refurbished, you can get it even cheaper. The only other major difference between the four models is paper capacity, which can range from 600 to 2100 sheets. Beyond that, everything is pretty much the same.
The Phaser 7500 can print up to 35 pages per minute black and 35 pages per minute color. The first page is also out in 7 seconds. These are impressive numbers for an a3 color printer. An even more impressive number is the maximum duty cycle, which is 150,000 pages per month.
While there are a3 printers that can do more, it would be tough to find one that can do more at this price. The maximum paper size the 7500 can handle is 320 x 1200 mm. As far as quality goes, print resolution can reach as high as 1200 x 1200 dots per inch. At first glance, this might concern you, but these types of numbers are actually normal for anya3 printer.
The Phaser 7500 uses color toner cartridges that have 9600 page capacity and black toner cartridges that have 19,800-page capacity. Unlike many printers these days, the power cord is included with your purchase. The software is also easy to install and use. The Phaser 7500 has built-in networking, which makes it easy for PC, Mac, and Linux users to join an Ethernet connection.
The Phaser 7500 has a Xerox Emulsion Aggregate Toner. This toner offers the smallest particles you will find in any a3 color printer. Those tiny particles lead to impeccable detail. The Phaser 7500 also has a feature that will allow you to store files that you print frequently.
You will be able to access them with ease. The 7500 has some other interesting capabilities, which include booklet printing, separation printing, N-up printing, remote printing, scaling, and much more. For further details, check out Amazon. Not only will you get detailed information on any product on

The Xerox Phaser 7500 might not be a cheap a3 colour printer, but it does offer a ton of value. It delivers solid performances in speed and quality while also offering unique features that are difficult to find on other models.

Other Options
Of course, not all of us have that kind of a budget and many don’t need all that function. If you are only printing just black documents then the monochrome Xerox Phaser 3600/DN Mono Laser Printer which has Automatic two-sided printing, suitable for a small workgroup, 1200 dpi resolution and can print at 30ppm. You can find this model for around $345.
Again for a small workgroup and monochrome is the Xerox Phaser 3250/DN Mono Laser Network Duplex Printer. The specs are identical with automatic double sided printing and are available for $215.
Xerox has a wonderful reputation and is always focused on business needs whether large or small. They was the biggest name in office supplied printers and copiers over many years and although they may be less prevalent in these competitive days but they was the name that was on the tip of everyone’s tongue for a good many years before. It is only competition that makes them not the automatic first choice but in days gone by they had a well deserved reputation and that good name has not gone down one bit. For businesses, they are still many people’s first choice.
