This printer can do it all; it can print, scan, and copy all of your documents. It comes with many useful features and statistics that are competitive with the much more expensive printers.

The F4480 prints up to 28 black and white pages per minute and up to 22 color pages per minute. A 4 x 6 inch print without a border will print in 29 seconds. The copying and scanning functions included in this printer also perform very well and deliver more than you would expect from a printer at this price. The scans can reach a resolution as high as 1200 x 2400 dpi and you can scan documents up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches. It is capable of copying nine copies at once and is able to increase the size of a copy from 25% to 200%.

Another feature of the HP DeskJet F4480 is called Smart Web Printing, which allows you to select content from several web pages and print it onto one piece of paper. There is an average size 80-sheet paper input tray and an ink-level indicator that will remind you when your ink is getting low.

You can make prints of photos from panorama to borderless sizes with a maximum borderless size of 8.5 x 11 inches. The HP 4480 will save you paper, money, and time if you utilize the paper-saving option when printing. Can the HP DeskJet F4480 print on both sides of the paper? Yes! Using the paper-saving option will allow you to print on both sides.

Consumers should be aware that this printer does not come with a USB cable. You may already be aware that is not unusual if you have purchased a HP DeskJet printer in the past. Apparently, this printer model also does not operate as seamlessly with a Mac operating system as it does with Windows. Those two issues aside, this seems to be one of the unbeatable models available from HP.

This printer is very simple to use, easy to install, and the buttons for copying, scanning, and printing are easy to identify and use. Thanks to the ink-level indicator, you will always know when it is time to stock up on your ink supply. Using the HP Smart Web Printing option, you will save on both ink and paper costs. Before printing web pages, you can even add personal notes. The ability to print fabulous looking borderless photos is also a plus. The printer also comes with a limited one-year warranty and toll-free telephone support is just a phone call away.

The HP 4480, crafted from recycled plastic, is also energy efficient, and allows you the opportunity save money, paper, and energy. If you would like to have prints that are high quality, high-resolution scans, and clear, crisp, copies, then your next printer should be the HP DeskJet F4480.

Getting work done while you are out of the office is something that can seem impossible, especially if you are working on a laptop and need to print out documents to sign and fax back, or give to your client while you are meeting with them. Having the ability to print papers on demand is the sign of a truly prepared businessman or woman, so having a portable printer can save you a ton of pain when you are out and about.

Mobile printers can be rather expensive because of the convenience they offer, so finding a model that will do what you want at a cheap price can be difficult if you do not shop around. With so many brands to choose from and different performance and pages per minute, you need to settle on a balance between quality and price. From my experience in printing while on the go, there are two great options available when choosing the best small mobile printer. Those are the HP Officejet H470 and the Canon PIXMA iP100.

The cheaper of the two is the HP Officejet H470, which will run you about $95 brand new. It has optional wireless connectivity so you will not have to cart a bunch of wires around with you, which is definitely a godsend when it comes to packing up and lugging around a laptop and a briefcase all day. In addition, the H470 gets a healthy 22 pages per minute, which is not quite as fast as many desktop printers on the market today, but it is fast enough to suit your mobile needs. The only downside of this printer is that it is pretty terrible for printing photos and not recommended if that is your intention.

The other is the Canon PIXMA iP100, starting at around $170 new. It only gets 20ppm, which is less than that of the HP, but it has the ability to print out photos in glorious color due to the ink design. In fact, a 4″ X 6″ photograph will only take around a minute to print out and will be of photo lab quality once you have it. This printer is recommended for those who need to print images on the go, such as graphic designers and other artists who need to supply hard copies of their work to clients. It has Bluetooth connectivity and can even interface directly with your camera, which means you do not have to have a computer to use it.

Both of these printers are designed for those with different needs, so take that into account when you are purchasing. If you will not need to print pictures, the HP printer is probably the best bet for your money, but if you will, the Canon is probably the safer option.

Priced to sell at $199 and $249.99 respectively, there are significant differentiating factors besides price to consider when looking at the Canon iP 100 vs. HP H470.

While the lower price of the Officejet 470 along with the more affordable ink cartridges it uses give it a leg up on the Canon iP 100, the lower print quality and slower print speed ultimately mean that the Officejet frequently loses out in a direct comparison. Users reviewing both products give HP Officejet a lower rating than the Canon iP. An independent analysis from CNET also had the Canon iP coming out the winner, even though it was more expensive than the competition. The high resolution, compact size, and quick print speed are preferred by consumers in the mobile printer market.

If either a Wi-Fi adapter or a built-in multimedia card reader is a must-have, then the HP H470 is a better choice since neither of these features is available with the iP 100. Users of the iP100 must print using either a USB or the PictBridge port. Since the USB does not come standard with the device there is an extra cost associated with the Canon if you want to hook it up to your computer. Despite this, users still continue to choose the Canon for their mobile printing needs.

The iP 100 has a superior printing speed and superior quality. The biggest complaints received from users of the HP H470 are related to print quality. With 1,856 nozzles compared to 1,072 nozzles in the H470, the Canon model clearly excels with its ability to generate high quality, detailed prints. Most consumers require that their mobile printer maintain the same level of high quality as a desktop printer with the ease and versatility offered through portability.

The Canon iP 100 is not only superior with its printing capabilities; it is also smaller than the HP H470. This is another point for Canon, especially with business professionals looking for a sleek device to bring with them for printing while outside of the office.

Despite the lack of similar bells and whistles and with a design that is less sleek and more functional than the HP Officejet 470, the Canon iP 100 dominates in the mobile printer market when compared to the HP H470. Even though it is more expensive, the clear differentiating factor for the iP 100 is that the prints it outputs are, simply put, superior in quality. In the mobile printer market, while some of the extra features offered by the HP 470 are appreciated, having a reliable printer that delivers professional quality documents is the winning formula.

When shopping for a portable printer, many people have one thought run through their heads: “HP h470b vs ip100″. These printers are some of the best portable printers on the market, so it’s not surprising that you end up deciding between the HP h470b vs ip100. No matter what choice you make, you can’t go too wrong because they are both excellent printers.

The HP h470b is a portable printer made by HP. It can print up to 22 pages per minute and is perfect for the traveling businessman. It is full size and can print on normal sized paper, which is better than what most printers can do. It can also connect via Bluetooth or WiFi if you use an adapter. It’s also sleek and sexy so it keeps you looking stylish as you travel. The included battery is very high quality and can last a long time. It’s very durable so it will take any abuse you throw at it.

The Pixma iP100 printer is very similar to the HP printer. It is also portable and battery powered and is therefore perfect for anyone who needs to travel with a printer. It can connect via Bluetooth and can read from mobile phones, which makes it very convenient. It also auto corrects many photo problems so it is perfect for anyone who is trying to get high quality prints. This printer is built to withstand abuse so it won’t break when you bring it along with you while traveling.

So, in a competition of HP h470b vs ip100, who wins? Well really, the answer is simple. It all depends on what your budget is and what your exact needs are. They both have similar specs, so if budget were your concern, then you’d be better off with the cheaper one. The HP prints slightly faster, but they both print fast. Overall, these printers are very similar, so you’d be better off choosing whichever one is cheaper or whichever one you think looks better.

This will allow you to save money while still getting similar features. You can also buy used, which will save you even more money. If you take this route, just make sure you’re buying from a trusted seller. Regardless of whether you’re buying an older model new or used, it’s also wise to read reviews on specific printers. This might take some time, but it can potentially save you money and a whole lot of stress. In this review, we will be looking at the hp DeskJet 5650. This model’s customer ratings are pretty much split between more than satisfied and less than satisfied, making it one of those models that are difficult t figure out. That said, the split in the ratings often has a lot to do with whether or not the customer bought the features that matched what they needed. In the case of the 5650, you will have a head start. You should know by the end of this review if it’s the right printer for you.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp DeskJet 5650 sells for around $300 new, $255 refurbished, and $75 used on Amazon. However, these prices are on the high side. You should be able to find this model for fractions of those prices at other online sites. The first thing you’re probably going to want to know about is quality. For the 5650, resolution can reach as high as 4800 optimized dots per inch. You will also have optional 6-ink color printing, which can help resist fading. The quality is very good and not an issue with the people who aren’t fond of this machine. Nor is speed an issue. This model can print 21 pages per minute black and 15 pages per minute color. While these numbers aren’t spectacular, they’re around average and nothing to complain about.

The DeskJet 5650 does have a lot of features. There is an auto paper-type sensor, an ink-level indicator, a backup ink system in case you run out of ink in one cartridge, a print-cancel button, one-touch screen shot printing, an optional duplexing unit, as well as optional wireless and networking accessories. Without the latter, this model works on a USB or parallel interface. It’s also PC and Mac compatible.

There aren’t many negatives to discuss for the hp DeskJet 5650. One is that installation is a little more difficult than usual. Another is that hp customer service isn’t very helpful (often the case). A third negative is that you will see high ink consumption, but this is nothing out of the ordinary for any printer on the market today.

User Review #1: I like the quality, the speed, and the buttons right on the front of the printer. Being able to choose your print mode from the printer itself is an excellent idea and it saves a lot of time. It’s not the best printer I have ever owned, but it’s not the worst, either. – A content customer.

User Review #2: I’m a die-hard photography fanatic. I bought this printer to add to my collection (yes, I have more than one). My favorite aspect of the 5650 is that you can print up to an 8.5 x 11 inch photo without borders. This is tough to find. For all you novices out there, the photo and imaging software on this model will help you out. Shoot for life and live forever!

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The HP DeskJet 5650 is a solid machine. It’s best for home office, small office, or photography-oriented use. It should not be considered for bulk printing.

If so, it’s often a wise idea to buy an older model. This is a good way to save money while still getting features that are closely related to the most modern printers on the market. In many cases, you won’t be able to tell the difference in quality. That said, there are so many old model printers out there that it can be overwhelming. The best way to narrow down your search is to choose a brand name. There are a lot of trusted brand names out there, but hp and Canon are always the two at the top of the list. In this review, we will be looking at the hp DeskJet 5550. We will cover positives and negatives. Hopefully, by the end of the review, you will know if it’s the right printer for you.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp DeskJet 5550 sells for around $200 new on Amazon; however, you can definitely find it cheaper at other online retail stores. In addition to that, you can also buy it used from an individual seller. Of course, if you take that route, make sure you’re buying from someone you can trust. Dealing locally is always a good idea. If that’s not possible, check seller ratings on whatever site you’re using. If you do buy used, you should be able to find the 5550 for under $70. To give you an idea of what other customers think about this printer, the majority of them gave it a perfect score. However, what makes this printer unique as far as scoring goes is that 23 people gave it the lowest score possible (67 people gave it the highest). There were much smaller 2, 3, and 4 ratings. This is odd because you usually see almost all the customers sway to one side. In this case, consumers have an obvious love/hate relationship with the 5550.

When it comes to quality, if you use photo paper, you will be able to reach resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch. Another interesting note about quality is that customers who own this printer are constantly raving about it. Through all my printer reviews – and there have been a lot of them – I have never seen such excitement about the quality of photo prints. So, if you’re looking for top-notch quality, this is definitely a model to consider. As far as speed goes, the 5550 can print 17 pages per minute black and 12 pages per minute color. These numbers are slightly below average.

The 5550 works via parallel and USB connectivity. You will also have optional networking if you want to link any home computers to your printer. This model also comes with the two standard DeskJet features, which are the onscreen ink-level indicator and print-cancel button. You will also have optional two-sided printing. HP’s goal when building this printer wasn’t to add new features (hence, the lack of them), but to improve ones that already exist. This might be part of the reason for the love/hate relationship. Some customers probably expected newer and better things. One thing that can’t be disputed about the 5550 is that it offers tremendous longevity.

There are a few negatives. One is that ink is expensive, but this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has dealt with printers before. The other negative is that if you put too much paper in the feeder, there will be paper jams.

User Review #1: Other than the aesthetics being way over the top, this is an excellent machine. I have been dealing with photo printers my entire career and this is the best I have ever seen. Kudos to hp.

User Review #2: Phenomenal. It’s durable, reliable, delivers high quality prints and there are a lot of optional settings/features. Anything under $200 is an excellent bargain.

The hp DeskJet 5550 is known for its superb quality. Anyone with an interest in photography or photo prints in general should strongly consider this machine. As far as quality goes, it’s probably one of the top three models on the market.

HP has been around for decades. It’s a publicly traded company that makes various forms of technology, printers being one of them. When it comes to printers, hp is one of the leaders in the industry. While they’re not known for good customer service, their quality is often very good. They also put out lots of different models, making sure they have something for everyone. It’s a good idea to read reviews for these models prior to buying. That way you will have a good idea of what features will come with the printer, as well as what other people have said about the printer. In most cases, customers who have already bought and own the printer will leave ratings. In the case of the hp deskjet 5440 – which is the printer we will be reviewing – 70% of customers were more than satisfied. This is a high number.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp deskjet 5440 sells for around $200 new and $50 used. That’s quite a difference. If you can find a seller you can trust, then consider buying it used. Based on the technology this printer offers, you will be getting a tremendous value. Speaking of quality, let’s look at a few numbers. The 5440 can reach resolution up to 1200 x 1200 rendered dots per inch black and 4800 optimized dots per inch color. You will also be getting hp’s auto red-eye removal and adaptive lighting features. If you’re someone looking for the highest quality possible – as in someone into photography or imaging – consider going with the optional 6-ink color. As far as speed goes, the 5440 can print 22 pages per minute black and 21 pages per minute color. A 4 x 6 borderless photo will take approximately 22 seconds. These numbers are extremely good.

There are some other neat features for the DeskJet 5440. One is that it is PictBridge compatible, meaning you can print directly from many digital cameras and cell phones. You will also be getting HP Image Zone software. This will assist you with organization, editing and printing. You will be able to print various types of documents, which include brochures, flyers, and labels. That list goes on and on. If you ever run into an emergency and/or realize you made a mistake, you can just hit the print-cancel button. All these are great features, but aside from the speed and quality, the best feature is that it’s one of the quietest models on the market. This will allow many people to use it in places they wouldn’t have been able to use a printer previously.

Almost every printer has negatives. The hp deskjet 5440 is no different. That said, there aren’t many. There are two. The first one is that the ink cartridges for this model are expensive. The other negative is that many units seem wear out after about two years. The paper jams are the first sign that things are about to come to an end. While this might sound alarming, many printers are built to last one year. So, you’re actually getting double the usage. And if you’re only paying around $50, then you’re way ahead of the game.

User Review #1: I work in a casino. While most customers are good, there’s also a lot of riff-raff. It’s my job to keep track of these folks. I’m the guy telling the eye in the sky to print a picture when necessary. It’s very important that these prints are of high quality. It can potentially save us millions and put a criminal in jail. I have been relying on the 5440 for almost a year and it has done an excellent job.

User Review #2: We use this printer in our high school principal’s office. I’m a secretary and I do a lot of printing on a daily basis. So far, the 5440 has done a superb job. We don’t make many photo prints, but that’s what the boss ordered, so that’s what we got. Fine with me. This printer is a workhorse.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The hp deskjet 5440 is a quiet, fast, high quality printer. It can also handle a heavy workload. Within its first two years, it’s extremely reliable. Well worth the investment.

This information can come from technical details, product information, professional reviews, customer reviews, etc. The key is to pool all that information so a potential customer has a good idea of whether or not that particular model will be a worthwhile investment or not. In some rare cases, such as this one, there is only factual information to go on. In other words, there are no types of ratings to be found for the hp DeskJet 5420v (there are two reviews). This might not sound like a big deal, but the problem is that you won’t have a good idea of what the negatives for this particular model will be. Therefore, the negative is that you don’t know the negatives. However, this printer does come with some neat features. Maybe you will feel like it’s a printer worth rolling the dice on. Let’s get started so you can at least formulate an opinion.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp DeskJet 5420v sells for around $200 new, but you should be able to find it a lot cheaper if you buy it used. It’s also possible you can find a new model for cheaper if you look hard enough. This inkjet photo printer started selling in 2006 and weighs 10.8 lbs. At that weight, it’s too heavy for consistent portability. It’s more of a desktop. It uses a USB interface and is PC and Mac compatible. This model can produce relatively quality prints. Resolution can reach as high as 1200 x 1200 dots per inch. When it comes to speed, the hp DeskJet 5420v can print 19 pages per minute black and 18 pages per minute color. These numbers are slightly above average, even for today. You will be able to produce prints on Legal and A4. You can also make borderless prints on 8.5 x 11 inch photo paper. The paper tray can hold up to 100 sheets, which is at the high end.

If you want optimum quality, you can combine the tri-color cartridge with a photo cartridge and you will have six-ink printing. On the software, you will also notice you have an option for six different print modes. This will allow you to adjust your settings based on your project’s specific needs, which will allow you to maximize speed and quality. There is also an ink backup mode; this will allow the printer to operate when one pen is out of ink. In addition to that, there is an auto-off feature. After the printer is idle for 30 minutes, it will begin to run on low power, energy efficient mode.

As stated earlier, there are no real negatives to report. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any. We just don’t know what they are. There is one thing to think about, though. If this printer began selling in 2006, why are there only two reviews for it? This is more likely a bad sign than a good one. It simply means that not many people have bought it. Word of mouth obviously wasn’t a factor for the deskjet 5420v.

User Review #1: The 5420v is a nice hidden little secret. It has treated me very well for nearly two years and has helped my small wedding service business blossom. I have no idea why HP wouldn’t have marketed this model a little harder. Maybe they know something I don’t know.

User Review #2: It’s not often you see an hp printer that has better speed than quality. It’s usually the opposite. Maybe that’s why this printer is so low key. HP probably prefers to be known for quality. Anyway, while this isn’t built for bulk printing, if you have a small office or need a home printer, it can handle those jobs easily. I use it for both.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The hp deskjet 5420v is an enigma. All you can do is base your decision on its features and the two lone reviews. If you do chose to take a chance, don’t plan on spending more than $50.

If so, you probably know that printers that are a few years old have very similar technology to printers that are sold today. The only real difference is price. When you buy an older model printer, you will be getting much better value. This is especially the case if you’re buying used. The only thing to be careful of when buying used is to make sure you can trust the seller. For example, either buy from someone with a good seller rating on eBay or buy from someone who you will be able to meet up with publicly if using Craigslist. If you’re using an online retailer, make sure you do some homework prior to purchasing. Whatever the case may be, make sure you go with a trusted brand name, such as Canon or HP. In this case, we will be reviewing the hp DeskJet 5150. I usually like to keep the readers in suspense, but I’ll get right to the point on this one. It’s an excellent printer.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp DeskJet 5150 sells for around $85 used on Amazon; however, you can find a much better deal than that just by putting a little extra effort in. This model has received excellent customer ratings. Out of 38 reviews, 29 of them rated 4 or 5 (of 5). This is very high. Another printer with similar ratings is the 460c, but these two models offer different things. I’m only mentioning the 460c in case the features on this model aren’t what you’re looking for. Then, perhaps the 460c would be a good match. But for now, let’s focus on the 5150.

The 5150 doesn’t fall short when it comes to quality. As a matter of fact, in can hang with almost any printer on the market today. It can reach resolution up to 4800 dots per inch color and 1200 dots per inch black. If you want to improve that quality, you can take advantage of the optional 6-ink color printing. This will improve photo fade resistance. Photo and imaging software, as well as the option to choose from 5 different print modes to enhance speed and quality, will also help bring your prints to optimum levels. As far as speed goes, the 5150 can print 14 pages per minute color and 19 pages per minute black. These are pretty good numbers, even compared to the most recent models.

The 5150 has some other neat features. Two of these features are standard for many DeskJet models, which are a print-cancel button and an onscreen ink-level indicator. These can both help save time, money, and stress. What you do have on this model that is not standard are one-touch screen printing and an optional duplexing unit.

In most cases, we would now review the negatives for the printer. Sometimes these paragraphs run long and other times they’re as short as this one, which is often a very good sign. The only real negative for this printer is that it doesn’t come with a USB cable. While this perturbs many people, to have that as the only negative is saying a lot. And if you’re buying used, it most likely won’t even be a concern.

User Review #1: One of the best printers I’ve ever owned, hands down. It prints fast, well, and is reliable. I hold everything to a high standard in my home and this piece of technology from hp has passed the test. I will have no problem recommending it to my family and dearest friends. We only use the printer for home projects, bills, and things of that nature. It has held up quite well up until this point in time.

User Review #2: I actually bought this printer because of the reviews. Now I have become one of them. LOL. BUY! BUY! BUY! Just kidding. I don’t work for hp. But I do work for myself, and the 5150 has helped me do a better job of it.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The hp DeskJet 5150 is one of hp’s best models. It offers quality, speed, convenience, and durability. It has an 8MB memory and is PC and Mac compatible.

The key is to get as much information as possible prior to making a purchase. If you’re buying used, then this doesn’t just refer to the features of the printer model, but the seller. Unfortunately, I can’t help you with information on who you’re buying from. However, I can give you a head start on whether a certain printer is right for you. In this case, we will be reviewing the hp DeskJet 460c.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp DeskJet 460c sells for around $90 used and $120 refurbished. These prices can vary. More importantly, the customer ratings for this printer have been outstanding. For example, on a rating scale of 1-5 (5 being best), 25 of 41 people rated it a 5. And 33 of 41 people were more than satisfied. I review a lot of printers and I’m telling you that you will only see numbers like this about 10% of the time. That being the case, it would be wise to start considering the hp DeskJet 460c.

The 460c is a portable inkjet printer. As far as portability goes, there is one big positive. The positive is that when everything is folded up, it’s perfectly flat and very compact. For traveling purposes, you will have a car/airplane adapter, an AC power adapter, and a travel holder. You will also have a carrying case for your ink cartridges. This model is PictBridge-enabled, meaning you can print from many mobile phones, PDAs, and memory cards. It works on 2.0 USB connectivity. It can also operate via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi network cards, but these must be bought separately.

When it comes to quality, the 460c is among the best, despite being a few years old. You will be able to reach resolution up to 4800 dots per inch. If you use HP’s Vivera Inks and Premium Plus photo papers, you will also be able to produce photo prints that can strongly resist photo fading. The 460c’s speed isn’t bad. It can print 17 pages per minute black, 16 pages per minute color, and a 4 x 6 borderless photo in 45 seconds. These numbers are average based on today’s standards. Two extra features are a fold-up 50-sheet feeder, and a fold-out output door.

Most printers have negatives that will turn many people off from buying it. In this case, there are negatives, but they aren’t very serious. One negative is that set-up will seem relatively complicated to the novice printer owner. The only other negative is that there’s no auto-on/auto-off feature. If these are the two biggest negatives, it might qualify as one of the Top 10 printers of all time.

User Review #1: I have been using this printer for years. I’m constantly traveling and this thing has not only kept me company when I’m extremely bored, but really saved my skin on several occasions. It’s durable, reliable, very fast for a portable printer, and produces high quality photo prints. For a portable printer, it’s as close to a 10 as you’re going to get.

User Review #2: I’m a Photography major on the west coast. I bought the 460c recently as a second option for photo prints. I often can’t tell the difference between photos I develop and photos from the printer. HP did a really good job here and that I would recommend it.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The hp DeskJet 460c is one of the best portable printers on the market. Not only do you get a printer that is compact, lightweight, and cheap, but it also produces high quality prints in very little time.
