If so, you’re most likely looking for something that will have specific features to meet your needs. You’re also going to want to stick with a brand name you trust. If you happen to be looking for a printer with exceptional photo print quality and you’d like to purchase a Canon, then you have come to the right place. While there are many Canon printers that offer quality photo prints, this model stands above almost all others in that category. For more information on this model, as well as other features, check out the review for the Canon Pixma mp800 below.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The Canon Pixma mp800 sells for around $90. It has received an average customer rating of 4.7 out of 5. The $90 price tag is more than fair for a model offering this type of quality. It’s an all-in-one printer, but is really more suited for those with photography-oriented needs.

One thing that immediately stands out about the Canon Pixma mp800 is the 3.5-inch LCD viewer. While all prints will be automatically enhanced for you, there’s still the option to slip a memory card in and enhance photos yourself. As far as the quality of the photos, they will reach a resolution of up to 9600 x 2400 color dpi. A lot of this has to do with Canon’s FINE technology, which in this case refers to a 3,584-nozzle print head, each one ejecting ink droplets as small as one picoliter. This model has many more nozzles than most, which leads to virtually grain-free photos. There is also a five color ink system, including four dye-based inks and one pigment-based ink. When it comes to quality, the Pixma mp800 is almost superior.

Copying and scanning are also important. For copying, you will be getting Auto Exposure, which means all copies will be optimized to match the original. For scanning, you will be getting 2400-dpi and 48-bit color depth. You can also scan up to six frames of 35 mm film at the same time.

There are some other additional features as well. This model comes equipped with LED ink tanks. The LED lamps will flash when you’re begging to run out of ink and flash fast when you’re almost completely out. You will also receive a dual paper tray and the option for two-sided printing. For convenience, the Canon Pixma mp800 is PictBridge compatible, meaning you can print directly from many digital cameras and DV camcorders. It’s also Bluetooth compatible if you choose to purchase the USB Bluetooth adapter.

There is only one real negative for the Canon Pixma mp800. Like many high quality Canon photo printers, there is high ink consumption. This is often a concern to many people, but it should be comforting to know that every other aspect of this model is excellent.

User Review #1: A 4 x 6 borderless photos takes 36 seconds! That’s extremely fast, which is important to me. I take photos with my digital camera all day, every day. It’s my job (and my hobby). This printer offers superior photo prints and excellent speed. The ink is expensive, though. It can get annoying.

User Review #2: I feel like I’m operating a cockpit when I’m using this thing. And I mean that in a good way. There are so many features yet I don’t feel like I have to do much. Being that I’m a lazy, control freak, it’s a perfect fit! LOL. Seriously, good printer. Very good!

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The Canon Pixma mp800 is best suited for someone who wants high quality photo prints while not having to sacrifice speed and convenience. Be prepared to pay for ink.

There are mobile printer scanners sold by Canon and HP that are very popular. But what if there was a printer that was capable of doing more than printing and scanning and cost less? Would you be interested in hearing about it? Not everyone needs a fax and copier, but if you’re getting them for free, then what would be the point of paying extra for less? If you want a superb mobile printer scanner, look at models by Canon and HP. They have some great options. But if you want to save money, continue reading here.

The Lexmark X7550 is basically an all-in-one, but it will be found under many printer/scanner descriptions because of its features. You can essentially think of it as a mobile printer scanner that’s also capable of faxing and copying. The Lexmark X7550 has a list price for $110. However, it can be found on Buy.com for only $97. For an even lower price, check out Amazon.com, where new units are selling for as low as $88.33. And if you’re really into saving money, you can buy a refurbished unit from Amazon for only $76. Now that’s some serious coin saved. If you do a search for this printer on Amazon, be sure to type in: Reman Lex X7550. Now, let’s see if this machine is a match for what you need.

The X7550 has a USB interface and a built-in WiFi 802.11b/g. It’s also PictBridge-compatible, which means you will be able to print directly from many digital cameras and some cell phones. There’s a 2.4-inch color LCD display and control panel, which will allow you to preview, edit, and enhance documents with ease. This machine offers duplex two-sided printing, which can’t be said for many mobile printers.

When it comes to speed, the X7550 can print up to 30 pages per minute black and 27 pages per minute color. Copies can be produced in up to 25 pages per minute. These are all very solid numbers. The first copy out will take 17.1 seconds, which is relatively slow. As far as quality goes, print resolution can reach as high as 4800 x 2400 dots per inch. It’s a 4-color ink system, but you have the option of upgrading to a 6-color ink system. Pigment inks are fade and water-resistant.

The X7550 allows you to reduce and enlarge copies and prints from 25% to 400%. This is another rare feature for any type of mobile printer. The maximum duty cycle is also impressive, which is 3,000 pages per month. It’s a quiet machine, coming in at 50 decibels, which is the average decibel level for a normal conversation. The weight for the Lexmark X7550 is 23 lbs. This is way above average for any type of mobile printer. This machine doesn’t have many downsides, but if there were to be one to keep in mind, it would be its weight.

The scanner can handle a maximum size of 8.5 x 14 inches. Scans will have 48-bit color depth and resolution will reach as high as 600 x 1200. There is a flatbed scanning option. You can also scan documents to PDF, which will allow for archiving and e-mailing. While these are only a few scanning features, they’re important ones.

If you’re concerned about appearance, the X7550 is white and silver, as well as very attractive (for a printer).

Portable Inkjet Printers can be great to own, but they can also be expensive. In this article, I’m going to briefly review two affordable portable inkjet printers. Not only are these two machines affordable, but they’re also well designed, offering great value. The two printers I’m referring to are the Olympus P-11 and the Epson PictureMate Dash PM260. The Olympus P-11 sells for $150, and the Epson PictureMate Dash PM260 sells for as low as $99. And, yes, I am referring to new units. These two machines are absolute steals at these prices. There’s a good chance one of these machine’s features will be more attractive to you than the other, so let’s get to it.

The Olympus P-11 is a dye-sublimation printer. Dye-based machines aren’t as high quality as ones that use pigment-based inks; however, they are very good at defending against smudging, fingerprints, UV light, and water. This can be especially helpful if you expect children might be able to get their hands on prints. That said, this inkjet printer can also come in handy if you’re a business traveler. Being on the road doesn’t often lead to clean, neat, and tidy situations.

The dimensions for the Olympus P-11 are 7.3 x 7.1 x 6.2 inches. It weighs 5.1 lbs. While it’s small compared to a desktop, it’s slightly larger than most portable printers. This does lead to some benefits, though. For instance, there’s a built-in 50-sheet paper tray. While size might not factor into speed, the speed is great. A 4 x 6-inch borderless print takes only 33 seconds. This is an amazing number. Of all the portable inkjet printers I’ve reviewed – and there have been a lot of them – it’s the fastest I’ve seen.

The Olympus P-11 is PC and Mac-compatible. It’s also PictBridge-compatible, so you will be able to print directly from many digital cameras and some cell phones. This machine offers a USB interface.

The Epson PictureMade Dash PM260 is 9.1 x 6.5 x 8.7 inches and weighs 5.3 lbs. It’s slightly larger than the P-11. It also offers fast speed, capable of printing a 4 x 6-inch borderless print in 37 seconds. Prints will be resistant to water, smudging, scratches and fading. Print resolution can reach as high as 5760 x 1440 dots per inch. In addition to that, it will automatically help reduce red eye.

The Dash PM260 has a 3.6-inch LCD display and control panel, which makes for easy previewing and adjustments. This machine is PC and Mac-compatible, as well as Bluetooth-compatible. It works on a USB interface. With the Dash, you will have an opportunity to add sepia tone and create borderless prints. It can handle several sizes, including normal, jumbo-wallet, and passport. It can also print 2 x 2-inch and 3 x 3-inch square documents, as well as create portrait packages. With the portrait packages, you can place either 4 or 10 portraits on a page.

While both machines offer tremendous value and their speed stats are similar, everything else about them is very different. Hopefully, this short review can give you some idea of which direction to go. Once you have decided, it’s recommended you gather more information prior to making a purchase. Amazon is usually a good place to find detailed information and pricing for the best portable inkjet printers on the market.

There’s a reason a3 photo printers are special. It’s because they’re rare. No, they’re not some rare basic material that’s impossible to find. There just haven’t been a lot of them built because of demand – or lack thereof. However, that will almost certainly change in the near future. The only reason demand has been weak is because prices have been out of this world. As you may know, when new technology is first released, it costs a fortune. As time passes on, those prices come down. The next stage is for the general public to get involved, which means mass production. At this stage, the technology doesn’t need to be expensive, because the seller is making profits on volume.

As far as a3 photo printers are concerned, we’re still in the very early stages. This would usually mean astronomical prices across the board. But, luckily for you, there is a particular model that offers tremendous value and sells for relatively cheap. The model being referred to is the Epson R1800 A3 Printer. As usual, Epson designs an incredible machine yet gets little credit.

The R1800 is extremely durable, so not only are you getting a machine that’s priced cheap, but you’re saving even more money because it will last longer than most a3 photo printers. Used units of the R1800 are currently selling for as low as $450 on Amazon. There are no new units available at this time, but that can change quickly, so keep an eye out. You definitely want to stick with Amazon for security, reliability, and pricing reasons.

There are a lot of strong selling points for the R1800. One is that it uses UltraChrome ink. This is a pigment-based ink, which offers higher quality than dye-based ink. The R1800 also uses an 8-color individual ink system. In addition to that, this printer uses a unique gloss optimizer, which will lead to the highest quality photo prints for any a3 machine. Resolution of photo prints can reach as high as 5760 x 1440 dots per inch (optimized). Photos will stay in mint condition for 200 years.

The R1800 can produce a 4 x 6-inch print in 42 seconds, which is very fast. An 11 x 14-inch print can be produced in 1 minute and 51 seconds – also fast. This a3 photo printer is also capable of printing posters – 13 x 44 inches. In addition to that, it’s a perfect machine for producing professional looking CD and DVD covers.

The R1800 is best suited for anyone interested in photography that needs a3-size prints. This can be anyone from a photo enthusiast to a photography student to a professional photographer. The R1800 uses USB 2.0 and Firewire interfaces. It’s PC and Mac-compatible. The one downside for this machine is that the USB cable is not included with purchase. Of course, if you’re buying used, this shouldn’t be an issue. Whoever is selling it to you should include the USB cable. The customer satisfaction rating for the Epson R1800 A3 Printer is 72%, which is pretty high.

If you’re looking for something with a few more features and are willing to pay a few extra dollars, consider the Epson R2880 Large Format Photo Printer. Used units are currently selling for $575 on Amazon. And if you’re looking for something even cheaper than the R1800, look into the Epson R1900 Large Format Photo Printer. Used units are currently selling for $320 on Amazon. There are also some new units selling for $449. Regardless of what model you choose, when it comes to the best value a3 photo printers on the market, Epson delivers.

If so, it’s a good idea. If you find the right model, you could save a lot of money. The key is to find a printer that has the features you need, good reviews, and a low price. If you’re not comfortable buying a used printer, then you can buy an older model new. The key to this is finding the right website. Whatever you do, make sure you buy a trusted brand name, such as Canon or hp. In this case, we will be reviewing the hp deskjet 3847. The hp deskjet printers are an interesting series. You will see all types of quality, from defective printers to amazing ones.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp deskjet 3847 sells new for around $50, which based on the features and lack of major problems, is a very good value. You can also find it used for about half that price. Just make sure you’re buying from a trusted seller, or that you can meet in person in order to check out the equipment. As far as operation goes, the deskjet 3847 works on a USB interface. It’s also PC and Mac compatible.

When it comes to speed, the 3847 can print 18 pages per minute black and 14 pages per minute color. This is actually slightly above average for a printer today, so as long you’re not looking for bulk printing, you won’t be losing any ground. When it comes to quality, black resolution can reach up to 4800 dots per inch. Color resolution can reach 4800 optimized dots per inch. If you want the best possible quality, consider purchasing the optional 6-color ink cartridge. Adding this feature will bring the 3847 to a level that would allow it to more than compete today.

You can produce borderless prints as large as 4 x 6 inches and media sizes as large as 8.5 x 14 inches. For media type prints, you can use pretty much anything reasonable, including envelopes, labels, cards and transparencies. Another nice feature is that the input tray can hold up to 100 sheets. But one of the greatest features about the hp deskjet 3847 is that you are told ahead of time the recommended amount of prints per month. For example, if you want to get the most out of your printer and have the best chance of avoiding complications, then you should be printing around 1000 pages per month. This is a rare and simple feature that can pay off a lot in the long run. Many customers use their printers incorrectly, and that’s when they run into trouble.

There aren’t many negatives for the hp deskjet 3847. Some will complain about high ink consumption and ink jams, but that’s always the case. It’s when complaints are rampant that you have to watch out, which isn’t the case here. The only potential negatives are that there is no scanner or networking feature, but whether this matter depends on the buyer.

User Review #1: I’m very happy to have found the 3847. It’s cheap and offers tremendous quality for its price. I like to print photos I have taken on my goat farm so I can send them to my grandchildren. The photos are in excellent condition when they leave here. A very nice printer.

User Review #2: I work from home, so I thought this would be a good option. It’s a little on the slow side, but otherwise I’m happy with it. I guess if I had to choose between quality and speed, I’d choose quality. So, I’m happy.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The hp deskjet 3847 is best suited for light to moderate use. It will be especially beneficial for someone who wants high quality photo prints at a great discount.

When it comes to portable printers, many models will fail in comparison to others in regards to stats and features. But those same models will have one special feature that will make it so appealing. This is the case with the infamous Canon BJC Portable Printer. The two popular models in this series – the Canon BJC-85 Portable Color Bubble Jet Printer and the Canon BJC-80 Portable Printer – don’t have the highest resolution and are slow. However, they have something that most portable printers do not. And that is the ability to scan. While prints are important while you’re on the road, scanning can be essential. If you forget to send a document ahead of a presentation or meeting, or if you need to send something back to your home office, a scanner can be a real career saver. The only bad thing about having scanning capabilities is that it jacks up the price of these machines. On top of that, you must purchase a separate IS-12 cartridge in order to transform the BJC printers to scanners.

The Canon BJC-85 sells for $530 on Amazon. This is a steep price, even for a portable printer. Your best route is to buy a refurbished model. They are often rebuilt to perform like new and you can cut the price by at least 50%, sometimes even 70%. At the current time, Amazon doesn’t have any refurbished BJC-85 models for sale, but that can change quickly. If you’re interested in this model and don’t want to pay full price, there are a few used models selling for around $100. Let’s go over some stats and features for the BJC-85 so you will know if this is a good choice for you.

The BJC-85 offers USB and parallel connectivity. It’s PC and Mac-compatible and contains IrDA technology, meaning you can print wirelessly. Resolution of prints can reach as high as 720 x 360 dots per inch, whether you’re printing black and white or color. Prints will be smudge-free. For speed, it can print up to 5 pages per minute. The BJC-85 weighs 4.5 lbs, which is average for a portable printer. It’s a machine best suited for someone who needs to produce reports, letters, memos, presentations, charts, graphs, brochures, and photos. Another great advantage of owning the BJC-85 is that it has a long battery life. Due to infrared technology, you can also print directly from a PC or cell phone as long as they’re nearby. There’s a 30-sheet paper feed, and as mentioned earlier, an option for an IS-12 cartridge for color scanning.

The BJC-80 is currently selling for $82 used on Amazon. At this time, there are no new models available. This is a good sign, as it shows there’s a lot of demand. New units will most likely be available again within days. The BJC-80 can also reach resolution up to 720 x 360 dots per inch. It can print up to 4.5 pages per minute black and 2 pages per minute color. It offers parallel and infrared connectivity. This machine can print a maximum size of 8.5 x 14 inches. It comes with a 1-year warranty and you will also have the option of purchasing the IS-12 cartridge for scanning purposes.

As you can see, there are only a few small differences between the two models. As far as customer satisfaction goes, 69% of customers were more than satisfied with the BJC-85, opposed to 67% for the BJC-80. If you’re looking for a printer/scanner combo, you really can’t go wrong with either option.

“In the left corner, weighing in at 14 lbs, also known as the Miracle Monochrome Machine … the Samsung ML-1630 Monochrome Laser Printer! And in the right corner, weighing in at 17 lbs, also known as the Never Upset LaserJet … the HP LaserJet P1006 Printer! Okay portable laser printers, let’s have a fair fight. No ink-spewing at one another. Touch toners and good luck. May the best printer accumulate more sales.”

Let’s look at the tale of the tape prior to the bought. Then you can put your money on what you think will be the winner. The Samsung ML-1630 Monochrome Laser Printer has a list price of $237. This is well within the range for high quality portable laser printers. However, this machine can be found for only $99 on Amazon. And if you’re looking to buy a refurbished model, they’re currently selling for as low as $75. Of course, these prices are subject to change. Amazon is by far the most popular online retailer in the world. This leads to heavy volume and constant changes in what’s available and at what prices. If you’re looking for the price listed here, consider visiting soon.

When it comes to speed, the ML-1630 can print up to 17 pages per minute. The first page out will take 15 seconds. These are pretty good numbers for a portable laser printer. As far as quality goes, prints can reach resolution as high as 1200 x 600 dots per inch. This is also pretty good for any portable printer. The ML-1630 has a 100-sheet automatic paper tray, which is one of its best features. Touch sensors (opposed to buttons) are also a nice convenience and add to the simplicity of the machine. Samsung advertises the quietness of this machine heavily. It will only reach a maximum decibel level of 45, which is lower than the average conversation. The ML-1630’s dimensions are 13.1 x 14.8 x 4.7 inches.

The HP LaserJet P1006 Printer has a list price of $232. That said, it can also be found on Amazon for as low as $99. Used models are currently selling for as low as $90. That’s not enough of a difference to downgrade to used. You might as well spend the extra $9. The P1006 qualifies for Energy Star. So, if you’re into the Green Movement and the environment, you should feel good knowing you’re helping out.

The P1006 black and white laser printer can also print up to 17 pages per minute. But the first page out will only take 8.5 seconds. Resolution of prints can reach as high as 600 x 600 dots per inch and 1200 output. There is a 150-sheet paper tray that doesn’t need to be reloaded until it’s emptied. In addition to that, there’s a 10-sheet priority tray for special paper. This machine can print up to 5,000 pages per month, which is extraordinary for a portable laser printer. It supports a high-speed USB 2.0 interface and is PC and Mac-compatible. There’s 8MB of memory. The dimensions for the P1006 are 13.7 x 8.8 x 7.6 inches.

On the surface, it looks as though HP’s P1006 would be the favorite, but the most important stat of all has yet to be listed. It’s also a stat that proves customer feedback is more important that advertised features. The P1006 has a customer satisfaction rating of 69%. Not bad, but it doesn’t compare to the 88% score received by Samsung’s ML-1630.

Result: 3rd Round knockout by Samsung ML-1630.

Would you appreciate having more space while working? I would. While today’s technology allows for a lot more production, it also leads to more clutter. The days of a stand-alone typewriter on a single stand are long gone – at least for the vast majority of the population. If you use a computer from home, there’s a good chance you have it stuck in a small room that’s also filled with books, printer paper, notes, office supplies, and who knows what else. One way to minimize this clutter and help free up more space is to use a printer table. These are simple tools that take up very little space and can go a long way in maximizing your time. There are many printer tables on the market, but we’re going to focus on only two of them here: the Winsome Wood 99323 Studio End Printer Table and the Liso End/Printer Table.

These two tables have some similarities, but overall are very different. For starters, the Winsome Wood table is honey and the Liso table is Espresso. When it comes to printers, features will weigh heavily on your decision, not color. When it comes to a printer table, the opposite is often true. For example, you’re not going to put a honey table in an espresso-colored room, or vice versa. That is, of course, unless you plan on painting your ‘computer room.’ Assuming that’s not the case, color can go a long way. Unfortunately, these are the only colors these tables come in. If neither option works for you, consider searching Amazon for ‘printer table’ and you will find a plethora of printer tables and colors at affordable prices.

Speaking of prices, the Winsome Wood 99323 Studio End Printer Table has a list price of $188.99, but it can be found new on Amazon for as low as $51. It’s a twenty-pound table with dimensions of 23 x 20 x 29 inches. It’s best suited for the home office and has been rated a 5 of 5 by consumers. If it wasn’t highly rated, it wouldn’t be in this article. The reason for its high rating most likely has a lot to do with its sturdiness and durability. The classic look doesn’t hurt, either. People love simplicity. The printer would fit best on the top of this classic printer table. The drawer is good for paper storage or anything else you need at the spur of the moment. And the lower shelf can fit your computer. This table can also be used as an end table. The Winsome Wood table requires minor assembly.

The Liso End/Printer table sells for around $130 on Amazon. What makes this interesting is that it’s rated a 4 of 5, which is lower than the Winsome Wood printer table. That said, it still might be a better fit for many people, and a 4 of 5 rating is still very impressive. The bottom shelf on this table is large enough to fit a computer, along with printer paper, books, office supplies, or anything else you might need while working. The dimensions for this table are 20.5 x 20.5 x 31.2 inches. It weighs 31 lbs, which is means it’s strong. It’s made of solid wood composite and there’s a brushed stainless steel pull on the drawer. The drawer is also a great place to keep office supplies or ink cartridges. Assembly for this popular printer table should take around 45 minutes.

Hopefully, one of these printer tables matches what you’re looking for. If not, good luck on your search.

If you have any knowledge in the field of photography, then you’re aware of their stellar track record. Therefore, anyone looking for high quality photo prints should seriously consider a Canon printer. That said, some models are better than others. It’s also important that you find a model that’s a good fit for you. That’s what these reviews are for. In this case, we will be looking at the Canon Pixma mp750.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The Canon Pixma mp750 sells for around $130, and based on a lot of features and excellent customer reviews, it’s well worth the price. While there are many features to review, it should first be stated that there is something unique about this model. Ink consumption on many Canon models is high. That’s not the case with the Canon Pixma mp750. Of course, as the price of the printer goes up, the cost for ink goes down. That may have something to do with it.

The Canon Pixma mp750 delivers in many areas, and one of those areas is speed. This all-in-one model can print 25 pages per minute black and 17 pages per minute color. A 4 x 6 borderless print can be completed in 36 seconds. This is extremely fast. It also makes this model one the few that can be used for heavy print loads needed in a short amount of time as well as for high quality photos. With the USB 2.0 interface, you will also receive fast speeds for scanning.

Let’s look at quality. The Canon Pixma mp750 contains a 5-color ink system, which includes 4 dye-based inks and 1 pigment-based ink. It also uses Canon’s FINE technology, which in this case means a 1,856-nozzle print head, each one ejecting tiny droplets of ink as small as two picliters. This all leads to resolution up to 4800 x 1200 color dpi. You will also get very good quality on your scans, with resolution reaching up to 2400 and dpi and 48-bit color depth.

The Canon Pixma mp750 doesn’t lack in convenience. There is a 35-page auto document feeder, a dual paper path, 2-sided printing, electronic sorting, and a Canon Think Tank System, which means you only have to replace the color that ran out, not an entire ink cartridge.

As far as negatives go, there are a few for the Canon Pixma mp570, but they’re nothing serious. The first negative is that there’s no fax machine. The second negative is that if you attempt to print photos on plain paper, you will be disappointed. It’s highly recommended that you use photo paper for photo prints. Another negative is that if you’re faced with a paper jam, it’s awkward to get to. The only other potential negative is that this machine begins to see some problems after around 4 years. At $130 – or lower – this is a very fair investment for 4 years, but it depends on the person, so it’s important to mention.

User Review #1: I have had a lot of Canon printers in my life, but none like this one. Prior to purchasing it, I didn’t even know there was a printer out there that could print multiple copies with this kind of speed and still reach resolutions this high. That said, it is important to use photo paper for photo prints, and you’re better off using Canon photo paper. Good luck.

User Review #2: This model does have a lot of features and I appreciate them, but the feature I use most is that I can print directly from my DV camcorder or digital camera. This offers me a lot of freedom. I have been very pleased up until this point time. I have owned the printer for four months now.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The Canon Pixma mp570 offers an excellent balance between speed, quality and convenience, making it a good buy for almost anyone. It has a number of features and has received excellent customer feedback.

If so, this is a review you’re going to want to read. It’s really a nice surprise when you come across a product like the hp deskjet 3845. It’s especially a nice surprise after reviewing the hp deskjet 3820. The 3820 was a complete and utter miss. Maybe hp learned from their mistakes after the 3820. Who knows? For whatever reason, hp did a complete turnaround with the 3845. For example, more than 50% of ratings for the 3820 were 1 star (of 5). For the 3845, more than 75% of ratings are 4 or 5 (of 5). Sometimes failure motivates individuals. I guess the same can be said for companies designing printers. The best part is that the 3845 is cheaper than the 3820. So, if you are looking to purchase a used printer that is of better quality and cheaper than its closest relative, this is a great option to consider.

Click Here For Full Feature List and User Reviews

The hp deskjet 3845 sells for around $100 new and $30 used. Resolution can reach up to 1200 dpi black and 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi color. These are pretty good numbers for quality, especially for an older model. As far as speed goes, the deskjet 3845 can print 18 pages per minute black and 14 pages per minute color. This is about in-line with today’s printers. When it comes to quality and speed, you will be right around average for both. Therefore, you’re not losing much by buying used.

The deskjet 3845 has a 4-ink system; however, if you purchase the HP No. 58 ink cartridge separately, it will run as a 6-ink system. This will lead to excellent quality, especially if you use HP Premium Plus photo paper. 6-color printing + HP Premium Plus photo paper = photos that are 2x more fade-resistant. HP photo printing software will also allow you to create reprints, enlarge, and layout photos. You can print anything from a 4 x 6 borderless photo to an 8.5 x 11 photo with white borders. Another way to optimize print quality is to choose from the five different print modes depending on your needs. The five print modes are Fast Draft, Fast Normal, Normal, Best, and Max dpi.

Two standard hp deskjet features that are also included are the onscreen ink level indicator and print-cancel button. The deskjet 3845 is also very compact and only weighs 5 lbs, allowing for easy storage and travel. The input tray can also fold up and holds up to 100 sheets.
As with most printers, there are going to be a few negatives. That said, in the case of the hp deskjet 3845, there aren’t many. There have been a few complaints of high ink consumption and paper jams, but these aren’t out of the ordinary for any printer. The only negative that is unique to this model is that you might have trouble printing oddly shaped items.

User Review #1: Stellar. Supreme. Stupendous. What more can I possibly say? HP finally decided to deliver! Congratulations, hp, it’s about time. The 3845 is your best model yet. I use it for standard and photo printing. It has delivered in every way. Highly recommended!

User Review #2: I almost bought the 3820, but was talked out of it by a friend who recommended the 3845. We’re both into photography (hobbies, but very passionate) and I knew based on his quality of work and professionalism to trust him. I’m glad I did. The 3845 is the real deal.

Click Here To Find The Best Price On This Printer

The hp deskjet 3845 is one of hp’s best deskjet models. It offers good quality, speed and convenience. It can also be found for prices that offer tremendous value.
