If your printer is already a network printer, then you can directly connect it to one of the ports, which are designed to connect to computers as well. This allows you to share your printer with anyone in the network.
The main purpose of a wireless router, again, is to connect different computers. This allows multiple users to create a small network which can be used for work or gaming. It doesn’t even have to be connected to the internet. There are games, usually strategy games, role playing games, and first shooter type games that support LAN gaming. LAN stands for Local Area Network, which can mean both wired and wireless networks.
Aside from gaming, you can use the network that is set up by your wireless router by sharing information. In order to eliminate the time of transferring files via storage media, you can create a network and share your files directly. You don’t even have to be connected physically in order to share your files. Users in the network can just click on your terminal and see what files you have.
