This is a review for the HP Deskjet F2430 All-in-one Printer. In some DeskJet cases, there’s not enough information available to form a strong opinion on the product. This is often because the model is old and never generated excitement with the public.
The F2430 is unique in the sense that it’s too new opposed to too old. It began selling in November of 2009. However, there should still be detailed information available on this model’s features. For some reason, that information is difficult to come by.
That said, we do have some information that can help you form an opinion. Hopefully, this information will also give you a good idea of whether or not this printer is the right fit for you.

This multi-function easy-to-use printer allows for the convenience of printing, copying and scanning at an incredible price. You get legendary HP reliability and simple setup, plus efficient Web printing, in this Energy Star(R)-qualified all-in-one.
The HP F2430 is an all-in-one printer with the ability to print, scan, and copy. Like most DeskJet all-in-one printers, the scanning function works the best of the three. The scanner is very fast and produces astonishingly clear images. If you’re in a situation where you need a scanner that can also print and copy – and for a cheap price – then the HP Deskjet F2430 would be a great option for you.
As far as the printer goes, it’s faster than most models, but the quality of the photo prints are average at best. This shouldn’t come as a surprise for an all-in-one. Hp’s focus when they design these models isn’t geared toward high quality photo prints. They’re aiming more at small office needs.

You can likewise purchase Combo Packs of the HP 21/22 Ink Cartridge in Retail Packaging at around $27 currently from Amazon as well.
Customers have been surveyed and many had reported that there can be minor problems like usual in any printer. However, in general, customer satisfaction has been quite high, whether it’s a business person or a student who uses the HP Deskjet F2430.
There are a few negatives with the HP Deskjet F2430 All-in-one Printer. Some users have reported that the software takes a very long time to load. What’s surprising about this is that the F2430 is a more modern model than similarly built models in the past, yet the older models have faster and easier software.
Other users complained about the paper feed. There have been several reports that if you put too much paper in, the paper feed will not operate correctly. It has also been reported that if you use anything but plain paper, the paper won’t feed correctly. This isn’t a one-time issue. You will most likely have to continue to manually adjust the paper. Needless to say, this can be a real nuisance.
Ink consumption is another concern, but it’s not as bad as many other models, and ink consumption is almost always going to be an issue.
In a Nutshell
The HP Deskjet F2430 All in One Printer is best suited for light to moderate home and small office use. An all-in-one device that offers print, scan and copy functions in one reliable machine.
