HP DeskJet F4435 – Brand New Model Printer
The Hp DeskJet F4435 is an all-in-one machine, capable of printing, copying and scanning. It’s also a very new model, having just hitting the market in October of 2009. You should be able to find the F4435 for around $70, which is a very fair price for a new all-in-one. The customer satisfaction ratings for this model have been solid, but not spectacular. As long as the model isn’t a lemon, this often has a lot to do with whether or not the consumer bought a model that offers the features they want and/or need. For example, if you’re looking for bulk printing, you shouldn’t be purchasing an all-in-one. If an all-in-one is what you’re looking for, the F4435 can offer a lot. There is only one real major negative, which will be covered further below. For now, let’s focus on the positives.

For text, the F4435 can reach resolution up to 600 x 600 dots per inch. For color, it can reach resolution as high as 4800 x 1200 dpi. This machine also offers 48-bit depth. This is very high quality for an all-in-one. When it comes to speed, the F4435 can print up to 24 pages per minute black and 18 pages per minute color. It can print up to 18 pages per minute for photos.
Resolution for copies will reach 600 x 600 black dpi and 1200 x 1200 color dpi. You will be able to print up to 24 copies per minute (black and white). You will also be able to reduce and increase the size of your prints from 25% to 200%. The F4435 doesn’t lack in the scanner area. The scanner can reach resolution up to 1200 x 2400 dpi. Scans can be made with various media sizes and scanning speed is well above average.
There is only one real negative for the hp deskjet F4435, but it’s a big one. Ink consumption is extremely high. You will only be able to get about 200 pages printed for every $20 you spend. If this is something you can afford, then the F4435 is a very good all-in-one option. That said, it’s recommended you also look at the F4480 prior to making a final decision.
User Review #1: The 4435 is simple and effective. It seems as though Hp decided to go with two different models that were similar to each other with the 4435 and the 4480. If you like simplicity, the 4435 is the way to go. If you want a lot of features, go with the 4480. I know both models well because we have both of them in our office. We actually have three models in addition to those, but they’re not Hp. We have been very happy with the 4435.
User Review #2: It’s difficult to find an all-in-one that offers quality and speed in all areas. This is one of those rare finds. Hp has made an excellent first impression with me. The only bad thing is the cost of ink, but I’m willing to make that sacrifice for quality.

The hp DeskJet F4435 is a well-rounded machine. It offers excellent quality and speed. It also offers convenience with features like an automatic paper type sensor and two ink cartridges. In addition to that, it can fit documents as large as 8.5 x 14 inches. The paper tray can fit 80 sheets, which isn’t a lot for a standard printer, but average for an all-on-one. The F4435 is 6.4 x 17.2 x 11.5 inches and weighs 10.8 lbs. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty for parts and labor and is PC and Mac compatible.
