There have been some online debates online when it comes to a winner between HP and Canon for mobile printing supremacy. Which one is the best? The HP Officejet H4700, or the Canon printers – ip100 series? Even though both have been dependable names in media sharing over the past number of years, there has to be one that clearly beats the other in quality and results. There is a lot to consider when picking out a mobile printer for your on-the-move applications, and this review can shed some light on the subject for you in no time at all. Continue to keep reading this review and decide for yourself which printer is the one for you.
The IP100 is the next release to strike awe in the common user, as well the professional photography industry. With its ultra sleek design and ability to print in 9600×2400 dpi resolution, it will be hard for HP to come close to the expert craftsmanship and list of features. The Canon printers – ip100 series uses FINE technology, which implements the use of three cartridges of ink for accurate ink disbursement. In addition to all of its standard features that you have come to demand from an all-in-one unit, the canon ip100 can also print to size specification by wireless, USB, or even by Bluetooth connectivity.
After testing the IP100, we knew it would be a feat for the HP H4700 to match up, unless it was a stellar piece of equipment. Our fears were confirmed when we found that the initial test prints were less than optimal, especially in comparison with the IP100. The H4700 only featured 4800 resolution, which explained a lot of the inconsistencies between the models. Not only was the print test lacking in equal quality, we found that with the absence of a scanner, it’s not a true all-in-one unit.
Hands down, the clear winner of the portable debate has to be the Canon IP100 series printer.
