The 6050DN has a built-in duplexing feature, which means you will be able to produce two-sided documents.

The Brother HL-6050DN Network Laser Printer is best suited for small workgroups. It has been referred to by some as the best mid-sized laser printer on the market. Defining what is best is impossible to say and whatever is suggested would be called debatable, but one thing seems certain, if you’re to combine ‘mid-size laser printer’ with ‘network laser printer,’ then this is at the very least an excellent option.

Other Options

Other monochrome suggestions include the Samsung ML-2851ND Network-Ready Monochrome Laser Printer which is another small office option with speeds of 21ppm and a monthly duty cycle of 30,000 pages. This model is energy star qualified and is a nice compact 14.3 x 14.5 x 8.3 inches. It is terrific value and can be found at around $110.

It also features automatic duplexing as well as a resolution of up to 1200-by-1200 dpi, resulting in fine image detail. It can handle transparencies, envelopes, labels, post cards, and card stock, as well as letter sized paper and legal size.

Color Options

Again we go back to Brother for a good color choice with the Brother HL4150CDN Color Laser Printer with Duplex and Networking. Again a model that is built for small office workgroups and with a print speed of 25ppm black and color, plus a good resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi.

This is adequate for most needs. There is the useful option of being able to use High-yield replacement toner cartridges. This is decent value at around $300.

Also we must not leave out the Lexmark C543DN Color Laser Printer with its 35,000 page duty cycle making it again a good small business choice with ethernet networking capabilities all for around $150.

This is an energy saving model with automatic two-sided printing, compact design and quiet in operation. It can print up to 21ppm and again high-yield toner cartridges which is a time saver on a busy day.

Other choices include the HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Color Printer with built-in Ethernet and wireless 802.11b/g/n networking enabling you to share your printing. This model again is terrific value at less than $190.

So from this list of options you could say any of them are excellent laser network options. The best value would not be possible to define. But these models would certainly be amongst the best value around on the market at the moment.
