Even though printers have been around for a while there are only very few companies producing them and some of the best are Hewlett Packard (HP) and Canon. Both deliver great quality portable photo printers and in this review we’re going to have a look at the best of them. We’re also briefly going to look at printers from Epson and Kodak but since their product range when it comes to mobile printers is limited the main focus will be on HP and Canon.
Before we look at the individual printers we’ll need to determine what we mean by a printer being portable. Some might argue that you can carry around a 15-20 pound printer but we all know that isn’t realistic and especially not if you’re travelling.
Now since we’re talking about a device that will be used for printing pictures we’ll have to accept that the weight of the printer will be higher that the ultra slim lightweight printers that you can find that will only print in black/white and in a rather poor quality. We’ll still be looking at a compact printer that you can bring along when traveling so that you can print your picture right there on the spot when you feel like it.
HP H470 Office Jet Mobile Printer
