One thing to keep in mind, though – the USB cable is sold separately. That said, if you’re buying used, the seller should include it without asking for extra money. As far as speed goes, it can print up to 5 pages per minute.
The Canon BJC-85 also has infrared technology, which means as long as a computer or cell phone is nearby, you will be able to print from those devices. This machine is best suited for a road warrior who needs smudge-free documents and quick access to a simple machine that can print presentations and reports. Its dimensions are 2.3 x 11.8 x 6.2 inches and it weighs only 3.1 lbs, which is well on the light side compared to today’s portable printers. Other than thermal machines, this is pretty much the lightest they get.
There are only two negatives with the Canon BJC-85. One is that the ink cartridges it uses are tough to find if you’re traveling. That being the case, make sure you pack accordingly.
