This is an older printer not available from Canon anymore but nonetheless can still be obtained. Buying an old discontinued printer may not be the greatest investment and this printer has been superseded several times by upgrades. But becoming portable is not an inexpensive thing to do and sometimes by considering older printers, used and sometimes refurbished, can be an affordable way of printing when away from the office.
