If you want large prints at a cheap price, look into a3 inkjet printers. It would be very easy for printer companies to avoid offering this type of machine. They make more money selling a3 laser printers. But taking a hit is part of the business, and it must be done in more instances than just this one.
What I’m trying to say is that the bottom line doesn’t always lead to a better bottom line. Still confused? I’ll take a different approach. Selling one machine and making a large profit isn’t enough to lead a printer company to long-term success. They also have a goal of making their customers happy. And I don’t mean smiles and hellos – that’s certainly not the case for HP, which designs and sells one of the models I’m about to mention.
They want to make their customers happy in regards to the type of products that are available. This, in turn, leads to loyalty, which then leads to more purchases of other items. The end result is more profits.
I just wanted to give you a little background information on the situation before you chose any of the a3 inkjet printers that’s best suited for you. And don’t let the above information upset you; it actually plays to your advantage.
They are taking a hit for your benefit, and it’s up to you what brand name you want to go with in the future. You are now a little more informed. Don’t you wish you had been prior to accepting such a sweet deal for your cable or satellite TV for the first six months? It’s basically the same concept, only on a smaller scale.
I review a lot of printer models, so I have become highly educated on the topic. I don’t like choosing models for consumers, but I do like leading them in the right direction. If you’re looking into a3 inkjet printers, consider the HP OfficeJet Pro K8600 and Epson Stylus Photo 1400 before anything else. They’re both cheap and offer everything you will need whether it’s for business or personal use.
HP OfficeJet Pro K8600>

Epson Stylus Photo 1400
On the other hand, the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 can be found at around $284 also on Amazon. This wide format photo printer also has CD/DVD printing to help you achieve professionally looking labels to your CDs and DVDs.
Print speeds may not be as fast as the HP K8600, but they’re not bad at all. 15 pages per minute on both black draft printing on plain paper and color on premium glossy photo paper. Photo print speeds are quite impressive though: a borderless 4″ x 6″ is as fast as 46 sec; an 8″ x 10″ borderless photo: as fast as 1 min 51 sec; and an 11″ x 14″ Borderless photo: as fast as 2 min 53 sec; and borderless 13″ x 19″ photos in as fast as 3 minutes.
