If you have ever searched for the right a3 printer, then you already know how expensive they can be. While they offer a great convenience by being able to produce such large prints, they’re also big and take up a lot of space. That’s one negative you won’t be able to get around when it comes to a3 printers. You need a big machine to produce a big print. But … do you need to pay thousands of dollars to produce an a3-size print? Many people think the answer is yes. Then again, these are often people who are spending other people’s money for business purposes, such as an office manager. They’re not going to put in as much time and effort in regards to research. They just want results, which will make them look better to the higher-ups. There are some people – perhaps like yourself – who are spending their own money when in search of an a3 machine. If that’s the case, I’m sure you want to find the best deal possible. It will be very difficult to find an a3 laser printer for under $400. However, there are two great models that fit into the ‘a3 inkjet printer’ category. One is an HP and the other is an Epson. I’m not going to get into too much detail with them because I strongly feel that you will learn more if you do the research on your own. I will give you a head start, though.
The HP OfficeJet Pro K8600 is a color inkjet printer that’s capable of A3 Plus prints. Print resolution can reach as high as 1200 x 1200 dots per inch, which isn’t spectacular, but also not much of a concern for most people in need of a3 prints. Speed can get up to 35 pages per minute, which is excellent. It has a 250-sheet capacity.
The Epson Stylus Photo 1400 is a color inkjet printer also capable of A3 Plus prints. Print resolution is a great bonus with this model, as it can reach as high as 5760 x 1440 dots per inch. Speed can only get up to 15 pages per minute. You will have to find out the paper capacity on your own. Sorry, but I’m actually helping you out.
If you’re looking for an a3 inkjet printer, one of these models should be a great fit.
